Border Gathering 2010 August 14th 2010, Dumfries, Scotland The Border Gathering Sponsored by The Royal Celtic Society This year there will be no concerts or Border Games, but The Border Gathering Highland Dancing Competitions will be held on Saturday August 14th at The High School, Dumfries Entry forms can be downloaded from the site or sent by post from Magdalene House, Lochmaben DG11 1PD email mckerrellofhillhouse@btinternet.com The entrance for spectators is 50p and there will be stalls and refreshments. We apologise to all those who had planned to come to Dumfries for the Border Games, the traders and stall holders and the accomodation providers who have lost business,  but we hope to return next year OPEN PIPING COMPETITION Applications are invited from young pipers under 18 years of age for our solo piping competition to be held at The Border Gathering in 2010.   ‘The McKerrell Cup’ for solo pipers under 18 will be awarded to the overall winner and medals for first four places.
